I think of them constantly. I don't see them enough and I worry about the weirdest things. Like how are they going to remember their visit to my house. Which part of the visit will make the biggest impact? Will they always remember Lolli's cooking? Probably not, because I am not that good a cook! Will they remember riding in the golf cart up and down the road? Probably...they are little boys. So we ride the golf cart a LOT! What else???
I have such wonderful memories of my grandparents. I was so lucky to have two full sets until my teenage years...they were very different, my grands. One set was very traditional and one set was anything but! What will my precious boys remember about me?
Anyway, topic 5 asked us to write a six word story. Hmmm... Since my preoccupation and all my photos are of the boys, it was a natural progression that I came up with this one. I included some pictures, well, because they are my favorite thing to take pictures of...naturally!
So here is my six word story.
Laughing...
Playing...
Supper...
Bathing...
Sleeping...
Blessed!
Later,
Leslie

Those are some good-looking little men!
ReplyDeleteI love the six word stories. My sophomores wrote them last year, and it was a great exercise in concise word choice. It's harder than it seems, isn't it?
I haven't done mine for this project yet. I need to get busy!
Thanks for the comment! At least I know I did it right. Before this, I had never heard of the six word story. I keep thinking of more of them! I may need to join the English dept!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you don't think of yourself as a writer?!? It makes a difference when we "tell our story" about what we love and are passionate about, doesn't it? I bet you could also write a few about math... Perhaps those stories might impassion your less than enthusiastic math students... Who knows? They may catch your fire and fall in love with math the way we are beginning to fall in love with your grandbabies too!
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!! I love the personal pictures. Great job!!
